Honorariums

If you are registering to run online you will be offered an opportunity to give a $25 honorarium to personally recognize a Wounded Warrior or a Servicemember who has been killed in action who you would like to run either the 5 Mile Classic or 1 Mile Fun Run in honor of.

If you are registering by mail or are not able to run either race for whatever reason but would still like to honor and recognize a Wounded Warrior or Servicemember who has been killed in action, you may still do so by downloading and completing the following form: Downloadable "In Honor Of . . ." Request Form, and mailing it to us at:  ECU Army ROTC, 204 Christenbury, Greenville, NC 27858, Attention - Wounded Warrior Run.  Please make checks payable to:  ECU Army Cadet Association

The names of those you choose to honor will be listed in the appropriate category on the right as well as on a scroll that will be printed on the back of the commemorative race t-shirts.  We will also conduct a roll call  before the awards ceremony during which we will call off the names and recognize the sacrifices of all the honorees.

All honorariums must be received by 15 October to ensure inclusion on the race t-shirt.  We will still accept honorariums after 15 October and recognize them at the awards ceremony and on this website but we cannot guarantee their placement on the race t-shirt after that date.
